Here’s what people are saying about our services

Marita has tutored 2 of my children to support them through their GCSE English.  They are both different – one confident but striving to achieve more and the other found English more challenging but knew he needed to pass.

Marita found a way to connect with both of them and unlock their potential.  I was amazed that both of them actually enjoyed the sessions and were motivated to do the homework she set them.  Ultimately this meant they both got what they needed to move on to the next chapter of their lives.

Marita is a very calm tutor, taking a genuine interest in her pupils, but sets clear expectations to ensure the time is well used.  My son said he liked working with Marita because she explained things well and it wasn’t like being at school. My daughter said she really listened and treated her like an adult.
— Jo, Parent, Surrey (Academic Coaching GCSE)

I have had many English Teachers prior to Marita and I can positively say she is the main reason I was able to achieve my English grades. As someone who is severely dyslexic, I have always found it hard to stay focused when completing work. But during our Friday evening sessions, I was actually looking forward to each lesson with her as it really felt like Marita had made the effort to cater the lesson to my specific needs which had a massive impact on me. It was clear that Marita actually cared about my education and wanted the best for me.

I am forever grateful for having Marita as my English Tutor because she has enabled me to achieve higher grades (7 in Literature and 5 in Language) when I was predicted to fail in both.

Without these lessons, it is safe to say, I would not have the same opportunities that I have today.
— Jonathan, Student, Surrey Academic Coaching for students with diverse needs (GCSE)

In the lessons observed, Marita has demonstrated an excellent command over the learning environment. Her students showcased a good engagement with the learning materials and maintained good attendance. The students seemed engaged with the lesson and also demonstrated enthusiasm for the assignments/submissions, by presenting their work to solicit peer to peer feedback.
